This is a sequel to the previous article which was titled: “Lucci and Her Hypnotized Cobras.”

So what is the point? Did you know if Lucci ever came to India? You may ask. Yes. She did. Why did she correspond from an address that was mysterious? Why did she continue to correspond, if she wanted to remain incognito? These questions cannot be answered directly.

What kind of International visitors are interested in coming to India for its mystique? Who funds their travels and so-called research?

Remember 1962? India-China war? Remember 1965? Pakistan attacked India? What else? Remember Lal Bahaddur Shastri? What happened to him? Remember Yogi Dheerendra Brahmachari? How do you establish rapport with the new regime in India? Remember Tibet and the plight of Dalai Lama? What was China up to in the 1960’s and may be even now? The sleeping giant was waking up. It was beginning to show its expansive nature both in the West or South-West (moving towards Tibet and India, and into Kashmir), and to the East, both North-East and South-East (Korea and Vietnam respectively). Remember it was the cold war era. Posturing and poising of the Communist powers against the “Capitalist” powers. The U. S. Embassy in India assumes a strategic role. A master-mind of the “Cold-War Dealings” who was mentioned before (see part I) is stationed in New Delhi. The Beatles develop interest in Transcendental Meditation of Shri Maharshi Mahesh Yogi. Yoga, Indian or Hindu Mysticism, etc., have over the years drawn interest of Somerset Maugham, Aldous Huxley, and many other intellectuals in the U.S. Some of them were “academicians” of the hippie generation who were beginning to be enamored by the mystique of Hindu occult and esoteric practices. These presented simultaneously a curiosity and a threat to the orthodox Christianity in the U.S. and Europe. If the Communist expansion in India through Russian influence or through Chinese spell on the Indian communists is to be proactively prevented, a thorough study of the Indian society and its strength and weaknesses is to become an important subject for the political scientists of the West. There was a rush of scholars into Independent India to study the sociology, religion, cultural anthropology, and the political system. This group of scholars may or may not have been associated with the Christian Missionary groups. For example, Erik Erikson came to India to learn about Mahatma Gandhi's life. Many are authentic scholars and are harmless. Lucci most likely did not harm her host country or the society that received her with open arms.

If large populations in India, especially near the borders between China and India, in regions like Nagaland, Arunachala Pradesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Assam, Sikkim, were to be converted to Christianity on a large scale, there would be a population that will be partially or completely alienated from the Indian Republic, and it would be loyal to the foreign cultures and religions ready to segregate from India and form the buffer states to fight against the waking giant of Communist China. If need be the “free world” has to be ready to face another Vietnam in these regions of the world. This kind of proactive political strategy led to the marriage or joint venture between the proselytizing Christian Missionaries and the Governments of the Free Western Countries. Of course, The Christists (the expansionist Christian Churches) were more than happy to take on this challenge as it fit into its mission and to provide the “infra-structure” for the adventurous scouts who would venture into the interiors of India. They would want to study the cracks in the Indian society to bring about social and political breakdown in the Indian society to further their goals of seeking more and more Indian adherents to their way of life and their ways of thinking. Although India had gained its Independence, it was still viewed as a British Colony struggling to become autonomous with very meager means. The poverty and corrupt Government were factors that would give a tremendous leverage to those who came in with their highly valued foreign currency. It was also well known that the Islamic expansionism would grow unopposed in the secular independent India and the majority would be mostly paralyzed because of the need for vote banks in democratic India which the Congress party was desperate to dominate with its "secular” nation building dream of Jawaharlal Nehru though it was not fulfilled during his life time. The well intentioned naive expectation was that the Islamic and Christian population will provide a clearly large vote bank that Indian Congress Party, which struggled to maintain majority support in most, if not all, Indian states, could not only perpetually bank upon, but also, eventually count on remaining loyal to the Party and to the country. This dream too was too dangerous for the foreign interfering governments. If Nehru’s dream were to come true, it would create patriotic population with solidarity which again is a threat to the Imperialistic expansions of the political blocks. It was necessary to continue to “divide and rule” India. Hindu-Muslim divide was too old to fool with, besides exploiting it would be a transparent mischief. On the other hand, the “secular-Vs-nationalist” or “secular-Vs-Hindutva” divide looked more “sensationalistic and attractive” that could draw the curiosity of the Western funding agencies (See the fraudulent characterization of India and its nationalist organizations as a new threat in the Rand Report). Such “divides” are self-fulfilling fantasies that misinform populations and constantly weaken the newly formed Republic of India in its nation building activity. The foreign funds were to be given for those who could surreptitiously work in this area of weakening the Indian society. The Dalit movement presented a fascination for a young British boy and inspired him to marry a young Dalit girl and attain the Dalit leadership. This is also a joint venture between a foreign government and the Christian Missionary effort.

The racism and disdain for the skin color expressed in some sections of the Western countries is not overtly expressed by these stalwarts who have a mission in India. Fortunately the coin of Xenophobia in the West has its other side - “Xeno-idolatry” - in India, which the poor, educated, and uneducated Indians alike, with their hospitality and generosity, practice readily. People like Paul Courtright entered India under this backdrop of world political and regional socio-political climate with an ostensible agenda to learn Hindi or Ganesha, Yoga, or study mysticism. The Ganesha worship and its power to bring Indian Hindu masses together and at least unite them for potential political campaigns was a fact that needed to be studied thoroughly if this non-partisan uniting socio-religious force had to be sabotaged in the future for any political or proselytizing gains. Besides, it was a great way to inflame Hindu-Muslim conflict in a clandestine manner. In all of these thrusts the Indians (both the Hindus and Muslims) and even the Pakistanis have been taken on a ride and they have not yet caught on to the real game. They have been shooting at the gnats while swallowing the camels.

India and Pakistan are both seen as fools and their populations as suckers for "the divide and rule politics" practiced on them by these powers long after the Independence and partition. They should have wised up long ago. They (India and Pakistan) still do not get it. It is doubtful that with the age-old divides and blinded with their own eccentricities whether these countries and their populations will realize that they are under a siege and have made fools of themselves. They will remain to be content as “sepoys,” for the foreign powers under the direction of their own Presidents or Prime-ministers. They will continue to fight among themselves and with each other. In this manner the subcontinent of “India” (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, and other regions between Iran and Myanmar or China) is to be dominated again in a neocolonial imperialism to counter communism. Indian communists are also suckers and are made fools for siding with the Christian missionaries and for seeking a “secular” image of an oxymoron in such alliance. The Islamic terrorists are equally meaningless in terms of attaining any political objective for themselves and their supporters in this region of the world other than facilitating weakening of the populations of this region for preparing the ground for the domination by the forces of the Western world. Their senseless violence actually helps their future adversaries. The leadership and the general public in India as well as the Indian and Pakistani media seem to have lost sight of this larger picture long time ago and it is doubtful they will learn anything from the story of Lucci and her hypnotized cobras. They would have made a big deal of such story if they had suspected that a Western power was planting a spy in the missile factory or in the satellite design facility. In general India and Pakistan have not realized why any outside power would be interested in weakening their societies because they have been busy weakening them with their own wrong-headed efforts for centuries and they don’t think they need any foreign help nor do they suspect that there could be such mischief being played on their lands. Yet the politically savvy Western minds have long ago learned the “termite” politics. The communists, Christian missionaries, and foreign powers wishing to maintain their domination over the world regions and maintain easy or low cost access to resources, be they natural or man-power resources, have practiced this political art and strategy for too long a time without the victim countries ever catching on to the political games.

Now the story of Mr. Hill who was interested in the occult in India. After studying the Hindu and Buddhist occult this genius has been playing a new brain-washing game to help gullible Christians in the West believe that their wishful thinking was becoming a reality. If Asia were to be converted to Christianity then Jesus Christ would need to return as Kalki or Maitreya (see www.google.com) Of course, he should be an Indian or a Pakistani to be accepted in India and Pakistan. Reverse plagiarism galore, he (Maitreya) is widely quoted with his promoters and marketers placing words in his mouth. There will be a 500 feet bronze statue of Maitreya near Bodhi Gaya in India and He will represent Jesus Christ. Mr. Hill was another visitor to India in the sixties. In his and his followers' prophesy Jesus Christ has arrived as Maitrya to keep his promise that he will return. These kinds of nuts or shrewd agents have been received with great respect and with great hospitality in India. It is high time that Indians begin to develop "practical" American horse sense and learn to know the difference between the real and bologna (baloney). There is a great following for these snake oil selling people like Bejamin Creme, Paul Courtright, Wendy Doniger, and their ilk in their own culture but Indians who understand and see the larger picture must not fall prey to the awe and spell of these people like our “friend” Indian professor at Emory did. Let us keep our wits about us.

In this connection the next article will be on “DHEE: The Essence of Hinduness.”
